Holger Alsago (HECAS e.V.), Sebastian Corth (Hanse-Aerospace e.V.), Matthias Jürgens (Hamburg Institute for Vocational Education and Training) and Dr. Frank Bayer (Lufthansa Technik AG) were re-elected to the Board by the members.
In addition, Angela Bronner (Airbus Operations GmbH) joined the Board as a new member in July, bringing fresh momentum, enthusiasm and valuable practical perspectives. The election of the Chairman of the Executive Board and his Deputy took place on 5 November.
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Netzel (HAW Hamburg) was re-elected as Chairman of the Executive Board, and Dr. Frank Bayer (Lufthansa Technik AG) as Deputy Chairman. The HCAT+ Executive Board thus remains on its proven course: committed, reliable and guided by a clear vision for the future.
An Honorary Role with Conviction
All members of the Executive Board serve on a voluntary basis – with a great sense of responsibility, technical expertise and personal commitment. At HCAT+, an honorary position means not only meetings and strategy, but above all: shaping, networking and thinking ahead. And anyone who has met the six in person will quickly realise that this is not about titles or prestige – it’s about moving forward together. With a good dose of pragmatism, experience and team spirit, they advance topics that strengthen Hamburg’s educational and economic landscape for the long term.
Or, to put it with a wink: Team spirit cannot be prescribed – it has to be lived.
